    Need help with multiboot

I have a notebook with windows 7 installed. I am trying to install Lubunto OS since my notebook is a bit too slow for Win7 but I still want to keep Win7 for a dual boot.

My notebook doesn't have a CD-drive so I had the Lubuno ISO burned on a flash drive. After doing that, the notebook will not boot from the flash drive but just opened up Win7 normally. I then went and changed the Boot option to boot from the flash drive first. That allowed for the flash drive to be booted and I went through the installation options for Lubunto and it had to be restarted to finish install but because I changed the priority of boot to go to flash drive first it just went back to the flash drive and that didn't allow for the installation to complete.

So I'm stuck not sure what to do.

Hi MoeAlza, try following this guide:
Installing Lubuntu: A step-by-step guide to dual-booting | Launch into Linux

Another one but its technically for Ubuntu however it should be very similar:

Set the Hard drive first to boot in BIOS setup, then trigger an OS flash stick installer to boot using the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

If the stick autostarts at reboot, unplug it.

Go over your laptop with Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to see if a Clean Boot and other optimizations can make it run faster. On low resource machines I always edit Visual Effects of fading, sliding, dragging intact, and selection rectangle as shown in Optimize Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums
