Error while downgrading windows 8.1 to windows 7 [0x80070057]

Hello, i have a custom built pc with an MSI motherboard and a western digital 500gb hard drive. My pc's bios is in cmos setup. The layout of the bios (ui) is alot different from other uefi but standered to usual custom builds. I also bought a legit microsoft copy of windows 7 home premium 64bit for oem builders. The error i am having is during the installation process. I found that there was no security in my bios for secure boot so thats not the case. I booted my pc via cd drive. It started up with no errors. I Deleted all the partitions from windows 8/8.1 during win7 installation and started from a fresh unallocated partition. I made a new system partiton with the 100mb and here comes the error. Whether I click next or format the primary partition drive. It gives me that error saying that it cant format the selected partition [0x80070057]. I even deleted and recreated the partions but nothing. I have gotten it to install almost all the way through a couple of days ago. The computer reset and then booted up and said that the registry was not found or created. Thats as far as i have been in the installation process. Any knowledge or help is appreciated thanks.
