Win7/Vista dual-boot ?
I have a Gateway desktop that came with Vista32-bit Home
Premium oem. It sits on C:\drive. The other day using my Win7 upgrade dvd I installed win7 to my J:\drive which had Win7 rc 7100 on it-----this was accomplished by booting from the dvd formatting the j:\drive and installing Win7 without entering product key. After the install completed I inserted the dvd while in Win7's desktop and performed an inplace upgrade this time entering the product key and so had an activated Win7.
I don't want a dual-boot Windows system and have decided to remove the Win7 install and do an inplace upgrade of my Vista(C:\drive) I need to do this because if I did a clean install I would lose several programs that came oem.
In disc management what is the best thing to do
to my Win7 partition. Quick format the volume or just delete the volume?
