You said the Kingston RAM works when it is in there by itself, right?

Why does Kingston think that their RAM needs replacing?

Was the Acer RAM working fine previously? How long did you run the Kingston RAM before the bluescreen?

Go ahead and try it. Are they giving you an RMA with free shipping, or at least telling you how to send it back?

so a model # would really help other than Gregrocker guessing all the time.
I would be nice if You knew what Memory your system can work.
What OS your system can work.
and stop all the guessing...

Lets get serious with your problem and fix it..
There isn't any guessing here. He already identified bad RAM as causing his bluescreens which stop when he takes out that RAM. We are now getting his RAM replaced calling Kingston.

He ID'd the RAM specs several days ago.

I recommended you call Kingston because they are a favorite local company here because they always try to fix compatibility issues or replace bad RAM.

I can't tell by your short answers if they thought their RAM was incompatible, and why?

You had said you have Value Ram but Kingston will often say if there is an OEM ram for that model that they won't guarantee Value Ram and refer you to the OEM RAM. Is this what they are doing for you - Offering to replace the Value RAM with OEM RAM that might be more compatible?

Again, it is hard to interpret such short answers and it looks like I am tossing off guesses to Snuffy, I suppose, when I am really trying to get the full information.
