i'm confused about dual hard drive setup
I built a new computer about a year ago, and installed win 7 home premium. the version I bought has both 32 and 64 bit included. I have no idea why, but I installed the 32 bit version, and now a game I want to play requires 64 bit. I'm trying to remove all other hard drives except for the c drive so I don't accidentally format and install to the wrong one. I know it sounds stupid, but with xp, I've done this before. the default drive to install on wasn't c drive, and I didn't pay attention to the drive it was formatting because I assumed it would be c. anyway, when I disconnect all drives except for c, I'm getting the boot error message. when I connect my other main drive, which wasn't connected when I initially installed windows, then it runs fine. there is a hidden folder on the second drive "system volume information". my question is, if I disconnect it and install the 64 bit version, am I going to run into any problems when I reconnect it after I install windows?
