Moving the bootmgr from infected XP partition to healthy Win7

Migrating my dad's PC from XP to 7 but i seem to have run into a problem. The XP partition seems to be infected and normal Malwarebytes/Avast scans didn't fix it. I'm not interested in further pursuing the disinfection as i want to delete the XP partition anyway.

Question is, right now XP is installed in DualBoot with 7 and if i delete the XP partition right away the bootmgr goes with it. I also can't log onto the XP partition as the one time i tried that it ended up infecting the Win7 partition aswell. Is there any way to move the bootmgr without logging onto the XP partition?

Why don`t you backup his data and format the entire drive, then re install 7 ?

    Clean Install Windows 7

If you'll post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image we can give you the exact steps to do what you want.
