Few issues after Clean Install(Win 7) on new SSD
Laptop - Sony Vaio VPCEE23FX
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium x64
CPU - AMD Athlon II P320 Dual Core 2.1GHz
Memory - 8GB (2 x 4gb) DDR3/1066MHz
Graphics Card - ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4250 Graphics (max resolution 1366x768)

Hi
Thanks to the tutorials and advice from the experts, I was able to successfully install a new SSD and do a clean install of Windows. It has been a month or so and it is working great in general. Although my laptop only supports SATA I and connecting SATA III caps its efficiency and all that, it is still much faster than 5400RPM.
I noticed a few issues (although minor - a little annoying at times) after the clean install.
1. When booting the Windows Animation flickers. It didn't increase the boot time by any means, but still a nice and clean animation would be better than a flickering screen.
2. More annoyingly - my HDMI connection. I own a Samsung Plasma 43" to which used to Connect my laptop to watch movies etc which I was not able to cast. Earlie,r before the clean install - All I have to do is connect and I get a full screen reproduction of my laptop on my tv without any black borders etc.
But, now I never get a full screen reproduction at all. I tried to change it to Extended monitor, Duplicate screen or just project only trying diff permutation and combination of resolution - All I get is is the following
* Mode not supported
* Screen with Black borders or black borders on top or bottom sides
3. When I forget to put my laptop to sleep sometimes, or when I switch it on from sleep mode - sometimes, I don't see anything on the monitor - just a lightly lit black screen and it get's stuck. What ever I do, nothing happens. I have to shut it down by pressing/holding power button and then restart.
4. My Wifi connection gets disconnected intermittently. Although the icon shows full signal on systray, If I hover the mouse pointer over it, it shows "no internet access". I have to either switch off/on the wifi or troubleshoot (it will reset the adapter) and we are good to go.
This happens sporadically. Sometimes every other min until I reboot the machine - sometimes once is a day or two.
I have not replaced any of the drivers as suggested in the Clean install tutorial although my laptop had separate drivers for Wifi.
Appreciate any help on the above issues and thanks in advance for your time.
