    A required CD/DVD device driver is missing.changing usbports wont work


    Im trying to install windows 7 from a usb but i cant get past the 'A required CD/DVD device driver is missing'. Iv tried changing usb ports like i read but it seems to work for everyone but me.

    Please help me :)

    Hello and welcome pool mate what have you got set as the first boot device in the BIOS and are the USB ports being recognised in there too?

    Some system specs would be good too please

    You need to be using the black USB 2.0 ports.

    What program did you use to put the iso file on the usb stick ?

    I would try again with this free program, it never fails.
