Going from "bios mode" to "UEFI mode" with windows7

I have an asus m5a99fx mobo with windows 7 64 bit (retail version) installed in bios mode. Is there any way I can change the mode to UEFI without reinstalling windows?

No. You will have to reinstall Windows. Unless you have a very specific need to use UEFI, leave it as it is. There are no real advantages in changing.

If you have Windows 7 installed, & two HDD's, you can clone Legacy to UEFI.
Migrate BIOS x64 install to UEFI.
