    Digital River Win7 Product Key Question


    I have purchased Win7 Pro 64 from Digital River. I would like to buy another Pro64 bit key but I am only allowed one Pro64 bit download. They will allow me to buy the Pro32 bit version, will the product key that comes with the Pro32 bit version allow me to install and activate another Pro64 bit install. Are the keys version specific?

    All I can say is that the normal keys are version specific, that is you can install only pro with a pro key, but they are not to my knowledge architecture specific (64/32 Bit).

    However with Digital River's history on this roll out I would not state this a s fact

I have heard lots about there being problems when people have downloaded Win 7 from Digital River as part of the student offer. Most of what I have heard is from people trying to got from 32 bit Vista/XP to 64 bit Win 7. Are there any similar problems reported with the 32 bit win 7 download?
