Complex issue installing Win7
Hi. I recently bought Notebook Acer ES1-511 wich comes with preinstaled Windows8.1 on GPT Hard Drive. I further solidified my opinion that it's a piece of shit so I want only Win7 x64 on that notebook. I never though i will loose 10+ hours with no result. I tried legacy bios, uefi bios (w and w/o secure boot) settings, BIOS update, regular bootable Win7 USB, Uefi bootable Win7 USB (build with rufas). I just cant force Win 7 to install on GPT partition or even in some cases - properly load it's system files to get even to setup screen. After all this I think that the only way is to replace the hdd with clean one (and lose warranty) or wipe out HDD, reorganize HDD as MBR and boot as legacy bios. YES it might work, BUT ACER DOESN'T provide drivers for Win7 for this notebook. So if I end up With wiped HDD, none working Win7 and void warranty I'll be very upset. I think I've collected drivers for most of the devices in the notebook, for Win7, from here and there, but not sure if they will work.
Has any one have an idea how to install Win 7 on current HDD setup so I can test drivers and on success I will then erase HDD and make it MBR like. I though installing it on external HDD but find out tutorials only for under-windows installations. I red tons of articles but found no solution. The bad news is that the notebook is quite new model and almost nothing comes out in google
