    Error 1326. Error getting file security:


    I am attempting to install MS Office 2010 Plus and keep getting the following error.

    Win 7 Ultimate x64

    Error 1326. Error getting file security:
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\ GetLastError: 5"

    I have run the fixits, sfc and nothing seems to work

    It is a purchased legal copy of Office Ultimate. Yes, Office has been installed on the machine before and I used the microsoft removal tool to remove previous traces of the application
