    USB boot loader ?'s

Just built a new htpc, want to install windows 7 via a USB flash drive. Used Rufus to create bootable flash drive from iso, uefi / gpt partition. OK so here is the questions, motherboard not showing flash drive in boot option priorities, read in a few places that I may need to disable fast boot and or secure boot control option to make it appear. If this is the case can I enable fast boot after I install windows or do I have to leave it disabled?

    Hardware:
    asrock fm2a88x itx+ (mini itx)
    Amd a6 6400k CPU
    Crucial ddr3 2x2gb ram

BIOS may need to be changed to enable USB to be seen; that was certainly the case with my old MSI P7N SLI MB

What setting did you have to change?

Secure Boot does not support Win7 so you must disable it.

Disable Fast Boot to get the boot menu.

Set HDD first to boot, trigger stick using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key.

Boot the stick as a EFI device to install to UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with - Windows 7 Forums.

Thanks for the info, ended up just burning it to a DVD and going that route, thought USB would be simple, apparently there is some know how needed :)
