Windows 7 suddenly not recognizing Password

I've been reading threads and posts all over this place and trying out different suggestions to this, apparently, common problem, but alas! To no avail.

I run a Windows 7 Home Premium on my Acer Aspire 7741ZG. As of this morning windows isn't recognizing my password. So far I've tried the following:
- keyboard language settings
- numlock
- CapsLock and variations on using Caps
- Safe Mode> directs me to windows login, where I have the same problem.
- Repair Computer <from Advanced Boot Options<, but it froze on a black screen. Shut off computer after 10 minutes.

my problem with the solutions so far:
* In Safe mode I do not get the option of choosing login user, so I can't choose Admin login.
* can't, or don't know how to, run command prompt from Safe Mode and Win+R doesn't work on the Windows Login screen.
* I can't download an unlocking software....because I can't get into my computer!! (Plus I just move to this tone and don't know anyone I can borrow PC to download. And I don't get back in to work until Tuesday...3 days from now.

Soooooo......what would you suggest I try next?

Hi and welcome to Sevenforums!

If you can access the System Recovery Options then you can try this: User Account Password - Change from WinRE
(or some of the other "Related Tutorials" listed on that page)

Can't get into windows recovery mode. It came pre-installed on the laptop and the "repair computer" option in The Advanced Boot Option freezes on a black screen after 'windows is downloading files, please wait'

Steps here for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start.

Note that if you can't access Recovery Options from F8 then you'll need to work from boot disks. Everything is in the blue link to try to get Win7 started.

If you have no files to rescue you can try running Acer eRecovery Management - Restore Using ALT - F10 - YouTube

Windows 7 home premium 64bit

So this is how it got fixed:
I couldn´t get the downloaded unlocking software to run, because I couldn´t set my laptop to boot from CD, the setup menu made an aweful bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep sound everytime I tried to save the boot from cd settings.
So I gave my laptop to the IT guy at work......who had it back up and running and password free within the hour.
I´m still upset I couldn´t figure it out myself, but glad I can use my laptop again.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply!

You can use the Acer F12 key to bring up a one-time BIOS Boot Menu. It isn't necessary to set it in BIOS.
