Windows 7: Blank/generic icons on everything just after installing Windows 7

It was very nice of Microsoft to make Windows 7 and Windows 8.x ISOs freely available for download. Of course you still have to own your own product key to use them, but still, makes the job much easier. I can never find my discs when I need them.
