How to change bootmgr from one HDD to another
Last week I decided to update to Windows Seven after a LONG time with Vista. Anyway at the moment I have the dual OS start, and I don't want to use windows Vista any more, so I want to get rid of it.
My problem is that I have installed the Windows Seven on a different Hard Disc Drive, and if I ask my PC to boot from that HDD, it shows the message "bootmgr is missing".
Well thanks to other posts that I read on this forum I have a vague idea of why this happens, but I haven't got the chance of reading the one where it says how to fix it (I'm sure there are a few).
In conclussion, what I want to do is to format the HDD where my old OS is, and I can't do this without fixing the boot problem first. Is there any way to do this?
