Install windows 7 and drivers

I'm going to make a clean install of Windows 7 on my new Crucial mx100. My desktop is some years now...and the motherboard i'm using is Asus P5Q. The dvd(motherboard drivers) is to old and will not open in Windows 7. My question is...will windows update find all the proper "drivers" and install them, or do i have to install the "motherboards drivers" like chipset, audio, ethernet and sata from Asus website?
Or if everything looks ok in the "device manager" after Windows 7 install and i still need to download "motherboard drivers"?

Regards Knupp

I do not know why it does this, it works fine when I disable RAID. Thank you for...

I was actually getting ready to post here about my x00000124 problem but reading other posts realized that my motherboard drivers were freakishly out of date (2006 versions, forgot about them last time I was installing a system). I dled all new ones, installed them all, performed a restart and then...

Hey guys! Some might remember me from over at VF. I'm having a little trouble installing Seven Professional on my netbook. Here's the story. Vista Home Basic was OEM installed, I partitioned the 250GB drive into 2 pieces, a 41GB and the other half is whatever is left. 7 Pro installed...
