    0x80070017 error when installing


    Hello

    Its like this i had win7 on this laptop
    I formatted and installed win8
    The problem was i also had a linux extended partition on this drive that i needed to get rid of
    I managed to get rid of it with gparted but that ruined everything
    Win8 would not boot any more
    Tried installing win7 many times and always getting the error above
    I have googled but what information i found was sketchy
