    Where to download .iso now?

    Hi guys!

I bought a new PC last year with no cd/dvd-rom, so when i've previously reinstalled windows i downloaded the .iso from Digitalrivercontent and installed with a USB flashdrive. But those url's doesnt work anymore. They send me to Microsoft Software Recovery where i need to type down my product key. I do so and get this message:

The product key you entered appears to be for software that was pre-installed on a device. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options.
I contacted the manufacturer, but they couldnt help me.

So please help me, where can i download Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Norwegian.iso now?

Please fill out your System Specs, especially make and full model number. There is almost certainly a recovery partition on the hard drive that you can get to via the Start Menu or a Fn key during boot.

See here: How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

A better alternative is to do a Clean Install, see here: How to Clean Install an OEM Windows 7. It includes links to all Windows 7 downloads. Norwegian is about 3/4 of the way down the page.

I see that link also leads to the Microsoft Recovery Center. Why is Microsoft being stupid about this again! It's the pre-installed Windows 7 systems that almost always need the ability to download a iso.

Be sure to check the HASH to see that nothing was added. This source is good: How to download Win 7 with SP1 ISO and verify it’s Hash Key | Gadgets n More

But I would use HashTab Download 5.2.0.14 to compare the HASH to avoid CNET download sneakware.

Oops, i forgot that! I guess its too late now that i've already installed it? I just presumed the download was safe based on the guys rating.

I ran your link through virus total (uses 140 AV engines to test sites) and it was rated safe.

Explain please. If this is correct why [did there used to be] .isos available separately for W7HP and W7Pro for example.
