"Setup was unable to creat a new system partition"

I've done a lot of googling on this and I am still getting this error after hours of trying.

I'm trying to install Win 7 on an Acer Aspire One netbook after removing Win XP from it.
After much research this is the latest command line I used and it did not work.
    Any help is appreciated.

    DISKPART
    LIST DISK
    SELECT DISK 0
    CLEAN
    CONVERT MBR
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
    FORMAT FS=NTFS
    ACTIVE
    EXIT
    EXIT

Do you have a UEFI BIOS? If so then you need to boot the installation media as a UEFI device and a flash stick installer needs special formatting using Option One in UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows.

Delete all partitions so that that the installer can change the partition formatting if needed to GPT for UEFI, or MBR for Legacy if the PC is not UEFI.

Otherwise work through the steps to Troubleshoot Windows 7 Installation Failures - Windows 7 Help Forums

Follow Greg`s advice or enable Legacy boot in the bios and disable UEFI.

    You simply disable UEFI.
