    Windows 7 Family Pack


    Hi,

    If I buy the Windows 7 Family Pack can I do clean installs on the 3 computers (with no OS installed) via a documented workaround?

    Yes. You may not even have to use a workaround.

    Would it still be a violation to upgrade XP to Win7 and then reinstall XP in a partition?

    This would be on the same computer XP originally came on.

    From what I heard, yes, the upgrade from XP to Win7 makes the previous install not valid anymore.

    It doesn't make it "not valid" as in stop it from working, however the EULA states that you may not use the product upgraded from once Windows 7 has been installed. You no longer have a legal license, even though you may have a key.

Does anyone know a good price on the Windows 7 family pack? It's around $150 and last year Costco was selling it for $125 and every advertisement that sells it for less than $125 takes me to a website that is selling it for more or an advertisement and even amazon.com is selling it for $148 so does...

hi ive seen they will be doing a windows 7 family pack from the sites i have looked on it is upgrade only which does not bother me but i can seem to find out if it will be 32 bit or 64 bit does any body now ???
