Okay I have went from coffee to Gentleman Jack and the confusion is still there.

If one doesn't have use of a external USB device or a CD/DVD player how does one install Windows 7? One doesn't is my guess.

The X drive is obviously the installation media. Are you using flash stick? If so it must be formatted specially using Option One in UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows.

Then boot the stick using one-time BIOS Boot menu key, choosing the UEFI flash stick. If there is not UEFI stick to choose then the stick is either not formatted correctly or the BIOS settings need adjusting.

Boot into BIOS setup to check the settings for Secure Boot (Disable), UEFI, CSM, Legacy BIOS and BIOS Boot Priority menu. Report back.

Yeah, I think since he has a driver error he's using a flash stick that wasn't formatted correctly. He doesn't have DVD drive.

Exactly, hopefully Greg`s instructions will set him straight.

You can also add it to your current specs under Other Info
