Windows 7: Is Windows 7 using Vista files for boot?

06 Jan 2010   #21

Windows 7

@SIW2 Can't uninstall it. It says it's already installed...which it was.
BUT, got it back by using my Acronis rescue disk to install the feature before booting into Windows and that worked because it was listed as "inactive" outside of the Windows environment.
So now I have my Windows 7 splash screen and my Acronis Secure Recovery using F11 at bootup BOTH working at the same time. I'm happy enough to leave everything alone for a while.
Now, I'll just go climb under a rock and get out of here.
Thanks for all the help.
