clean re-install with already moved User profiles/folders?

    Hello,
Due to events documented here, I have decided to go ahead and do a clean re-install of Win7. When I originally set up this machine, I used this tutorial and moved all users to the large 1TB HDD, with just the OS and Programs on the relatively small 128GB SSD.

I'd like it very much if all the data including the user profiles and folders could remain intact and integrated into the new install, and just install the OS to the SSD.

Is it possible to do a clean re-install Win7 to my SSD, then move/create users to the pre-existing user folders on the HDD?

I hope I'm making sense here. I don't see any existing threads or tutorials that describe this process.

    Thanks!
    Kieran

Unplug all other drives to do a Clean Reinstall Windows 7 to the SSD. If you don't move the User account again then it will be created normally.

Then copy the User folder data to it's new location on the SSD as specified in tutorial.

If you run short of space, you can move selected User folders to the HDD again following User Folders - Change Default Location
