can I utilize all memory?
we have a new 64bit tower PC which came with 8GB memory, but we had to install a 32bit version of Windows Seven. Does that limit the amount of memory available to beneath the 4GB ceiling please?

I recently upgraded my memory to 18 gigabytes. With chrome running about a half a dozen windows it will use about 6 gigabytes. since I have plenty of memory leftover is there a way to configure windows so it will use as much memory as possible perhaps even direct some of the memory to the video...

64Bit OS wont utilize my 16GB memory.
Hi Guys, So I have a 64bit laptop with 16gb ram running 7 ultimate 64bit. If I have a few programs open my computer starts to grind to a halt when it hits 3.5-4gb ram being used. I have only ever seen it hit around 6-7GB when I was doing MASSIVE stuff in Excel. If I have other applications...

Can anyone help re. available memory... Installed 4GB, available 2.75
As title really. I had to do a clean reinstall, before it was showing all 4GB of ram as usable but now only 2.75GB. It is 32 bit but was using all 4GB before on the same system. I've been into msconfig and the boxes are unchecked, strange. Any other ideas please? TIA
