Did you try unplugging the battery?

Also try unplugging A/C power, hold power button to drain power, then plug back in A/C without battery. Then with battery.

Unplug any USB cables.

Try pressing F9 for Boot Options rather than Esc at power on.

Try tapping the ESC and F9 keys the whole time after power on. Then try holding them down the whole time.

Try triggering F9 menu with an external USB keyboard.

If F9 doesn't work, try F10 for BIOS and you can change the boot order there.

Do you see any lights blinking on keyboard? How many blinks?

Is there an LED next to where adapter plugs in? If lit the adapter is good. If not try another.

Open the hard drive bay and make sure it is seated securely.

In some cases a rootkit is believed to infect the MBR of the hard drive, so try booting the PC without the HD to see if you get BIOS function. If so and Win7 disk cannot be made to boot, then slave the HD to another PC to wipe it with Clean All command.

Access the RAM bay under laptop, remove each stick of RAM to try booting with the other.

Were you able to run Diagnostics from ESC menu at all?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

So I've left the computer completely alone since I last posted and that seemed to do the trick. I left it with the CMOS battery still in and the external battery out. Whenever I turned the computer on today it said "CMOS ERROR." I pressed ENTER and it reset and left off exactly where I was installing Windows. I'm not quite sure what fixed it but its fixed now so I'm happy.

Thanks for you help :)
