    Update win7 boot.wim and winre.wim

Download the .zip file, extract it your hard drive, then run as admin on the update7re.cmd.

It will look in it's own directory for either winre.wim,or boot.wim, if not found, then it offers to use winre.wim from your hard drive.

It will download the needed updates ( 148mb for x64 or 98mb for x86).

It then installs the updates into the wim file.

The resulting wim is about the same size as the original.

It will have the new kernel, new setup files, new drivers and usb3 support.

Si what will this be beneficial for?

    Where did it come from?

Are there any modifications made to the boot files that might be viewed as user customizations?

    Thanks!

    Similar to updating the install.wim

It is beneficial coz it has the new drivers and kernel. It installs usb3 drivers as well, so supports usb3 installation.

Get this error after "download updates y/n?"

    WGet.exe - System Error
    ---------------------------
The program can't start because LIBEAY32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Hey Si, this just keeps on getting better!

I keep my Winre.wim file on my extended system reserved partition and not on my C:\ Drive.

Would I need to change anything to get this to work?

Making some adjustments, you may need libeay, and it is only working with x64 atm.

Will post a new version later today.

New version, includes option to either use vanilla updates, or also include pecmd to show drives. Alternative method of d/l updates using curl.
