    Excesive START-UP Processes and Services


    My WIN 7 starts up with over 75 "processes" and hundreds of "services" . How can I inhibit some to increase start-up speed and how can I tell which are safe to inhibit or delete?

    Work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to establish a Clean Boot, and any others if you want to go over your install thoroughly and learn more about it.

Is there a way to know which processes and services are not needed?
Identify Redundant Processes and Services?

How can I tell which processes and/or services could be redundant? I ran task manager when I had nothing running and it shows 72 processes and a lot of services. Some of the services are stopped. Have attached screen shots of the task manager displays. Would welcome any advice or comments.
