You are joking, right?Better solution is to keep on "testing" it for a month, for every single update what is coming out.

A lot of people will be paying for this OS when it's finalized. And no talking about illegal activities please.

yes drazenn that is what a VM is used for to TEST OS and applicationas...
so is a trial period or shareware to test before you buy....

Its worked fine for me on two different machines, i hear some people saying its maybe gfx card causing that bsod on install, try removing it, or i think i recall someone saying if you press f8 or some key you can use the onboard gfx/lower res and it will install then set up card later, im not 100% sure on that though and if facing the same problems myself would probably just stick to 7000.

But yes thats not really a great sign but i have not had any such issues.

Same happens to me. 7000 installs fine, I've tried installing 7022 several times and always get a BSOD just before setup completes, after the reboot. I've tried F8 with the VGA option, removing all cards except my video board, without any effect. I use 4gb ram and tried installing with only 2gb, that didn't help either.

Seems like few have had this problem. Any chance you are using nvidia 780i mainboard (or similar) or 8800 series video cards ? I think it has to be either an incompatible video, chipset, or raid driver that is causing the failure to not boot into Windows. Whatever it is, it is something new since 7000 since that runs just fine on my setup.

I think I have an old AGP video card in my junk drawer, maybe I'll try to dig it out and try installing with that instead of the 8800.

Main reason I wanted to install 7022 was to get a (hopefully) more stable IE8. Version in 7000 crashes all the time with flash content. I can disable flash but so many websites use it that it makes IE8 unusable for surfing. Until Microsoft and/or Adobe get that fixed, I will be mainly using Firefox.

Without intending to be blunt. Use FF 3.x, IE is terrible in general IMO.

Im using 7022 on 2 machines with 0 problems evn when overclocking one machine, but i have now seen many posts about this bsod for some people and this was never an issue with 7000 as far as i know, so my opinion (even though its working great for me) has started to change about build 7022.

Saying that though, none of us truely know where it came from other than some RU torrent site, im not doubting it is genuine ms stuff but it was never intended for release to the general public that is for sure so nobody using/trying to use it can really complain unless the issue is also present in the official 7000 release..

@TripOG - using a test machine i wouldn't really care.. but as i say above unless this malware/virus is advanced enough to change voltages and the like its weak and i truly don't care as a re-install will fix all

Hi,

the whole point of an Interim build in product development is that you apply a fix for a particular issue and see what if anything that breaks. The next build you either try something else or fix the new break and so on.

As we are not privy to all the builds in this process it is impossible to know if the leaked build is even on the current development path or some abandoned offshoot. The next build to judge can only be the release candidate or other official build.

I can understand the desire to have the latest available build but when doing so there is always a possible reliability penalty to pay.

It is I think too much to expect every leaked build to be "better" than the previous official, or leaked, build.
