Windows 7 Installation Error code 0x80070570

I am trying to install Windows 7 on an HP Slimline s5220y with a USB installer I made from a Windows 7 ISO (I made the ISO from a working Windows 7 DVD). At around 25% through extracting the files, I get an error message with the error code 0x80070570. Any help is appreciated

Hello and welcome Cave mate I think personally although fiddly using this tutorial and invoking the ie.cfg removal tool would be far less problematical as long as you choose the correct version for which you have the activation code for.

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 it does also give info on doing it with a stick anyhow.

Where did you get the ISO? Did you confirm its integrity from Step 1 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 ?

Do you have a UEFI BIOS? If so did you format the stick for UEFI and are you booting it as a UEFI device?

I got the iso from an install dvd that I have used many times before (I made an iso using Imgburn).

Might be time to remake that ISO CV it could well be "well worn"

Exactly what install DVD did you make a copy of?

Who made the original DVD of Windows 7 that you made a copy of.
