    Ssd boot problem


    I have an Acer Predator G3120 and i have installd an evo850 ssd 1tb disc. I have win7 64bit home premium. When i activate AHCI mode in my bios windows dont start up.

    Maybe you don't have an ACHI driver installed. Go here and download the ACHI driver under SCSI & RAID drivers Acer Predator G3120 Drivers Download for Windows 7, 8, XP, Vista

    Then after installing, go back into BIOS and enable ACHI. If that doesn't work , post back.

    You can also check if this solution applies to you. It requires a change in the regedit prior to changing the SATA mode in BIOS.

    I have the drivers installd and i have tryed changing the regestry. I have tryed every possible solutions i coud find in this forum and elswere on the net. Now i am reinstalling windows with AHCI enabled in the bios. I hope that will fix it.

    When i did i clean install everything works just fine :)

    Glad you got it sorted out. Sometimes a clean install is the fast way to fix issues.
