    need help with partitions

reinstalling windows 7 on laptop - the disk has 2 partitions, C (big) and D (small)

mistakenly put win7 on the D drive and now it has run out of space.
I would like to put win7 on the c drive

I have copied all the D files to the C drive. I want to delete the D partition but not sure how to proceed while booted from the D drive.

It also seems I cant boot from C in bios using the new copy, is there another way?

Get the free Partition Wizard 9. It's recommended by the forum Admins and the link is one of the tutorials. But here it is for your convenience MiniTool Partition Manager Software for Windows PC and Server
