"What are the ACPI power settings in BIOS?"
The only settings for ACPI is mode S1/S2 ... not possible to disable it in BIOS.

Not possible to disable APIC in BIOS.

"Is there no disable for those in Dev Mgr?"
There is no possiblility to disable ACPI in Dev Mgr in Windows 7, no possiblility to disable ACPI APIC in Dev Mgr in Windows 7.

I reconcile W7 has no solution for this. I will buy new board and this one I will use only for Windows XP. However, if you have any idea how to fix the problems, it will be welcome.

Can you Google or post back the exact error message that clued you to the ACPI issue? This is how to find how others have resolved an obscure problem like this. If not an error message then what tells you this is the problem.

Is it possible this is a UEFI BIOS which might allow an install to wiped drive when booting the installation media as a UEFI device? Any settings in BIOS for UEFI, CSM, Legacy BIOS etc? How about Secure Boot? You mentioned possible BIOS update but did you check for one?

I'd also asked you if you can run the Win7 installation media from XP and what happens. I'd also run the Win7 Upgrade advisor from XP as it may provide solutions or warnings. This is worth reinstalling XP.

We do not give up so you shouldn't either. The solution may be a bit more elusive than most but where there is cooperation there is normally a solution

Is it possible to make screenshot in safe mode? And how to save it to image file?
There was not error, but 1) the issue with linux: I turned the ACPI APIC off and this solved the problem with linux 2) In windows 7 Device Manager I have seen the failtures in Resources addresses of the devices. On one system device (unknown) these is conflict with ACPI APIC (id=acpiapic).

I will reply soon to the rest of your questions

edit1 - Good idea to try install from Windows XP. I never tried. What SP do I need to start such install?

edit2 - Is it possible this is a UEFI BIOS which might allow an install to wiped drive when booting the installation media as a UEFI device?
I am not sure if I understand this question. "booting the installation media as a UEFI device" - I did not heard about this. How could you boot from DVD pretending it to be UEFI? I dont understand how this could work.

"Any settings in BIOS for UEFI, CSM, Legacy BIOS etc?"
Definitely no :-( It is UEFI BIOS from MSI, I heard more ppl criticize this BIOS having too few options. This is the "modern BIOS".

"How about Secure Boot? "
I cannot boot with Secure Boot, I would need to install database with keys. I have no idea how to do it, where to find the db files. I believe they are payed.

"You mentioned possible BIOS update but did you check for one?"
This is too dangerous. If something went wrong, I could not start PC at all. I could do it from M-flash in BIOS, but I do not dare to do it. It could solve the problem, but currenly my plan is to buy new board from Asus, sell my PC with the new board and then buy new PC where I will use this 990fxa-GD80 board for Windows XP only. I wanted to install W7 because I want to sell my PC and to buy new one. I personally do not need W7, I need XP for programming. So I wanted to use W7 to show to the buyer that everything is fine.

edit 3 - "I'd also run the Win7 Upgrade advisor from XP as it may provide solutions or warnings."
Is this program on Win7 DVD or I must download it?

Use a camera or phone to take pics of BIOS settings. Attach using paper clip in reply box.

XP SP 3.

FOR UEFI installation the disk Must be booted as a UEFI device, or flash stick installer must be specially formatted. The latest UEFI firmware must be installed. See UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with.

This is made clear in the Troubleshooting Installstion Failures tutorial I posted in my first install which you claimed to have read. Why don't you start on it now? I have zero tolerance for those who will lot do the work while insisting they have.

Go back to the top of the thread and complete every single step without
Missing a single step. You have not even completed the basics yet so the idea the issue lacks a solution is absurd.

I have solved the problem was with power supply. The power supply is good but has only 1x4 pin connector to board which has 2x8pin connector and it is unstable when running FX 8300 with only once ATX CPU connector. Thanks for feedback
