These are 'interim' builds, not released to public, not meant to be used by the public, and particularly, not suitable for 'general release'.
This board (and any other for that matter) could become very confused with people's issues regarding Windows 7 faults, if we were all using different builds, especially ones which have obviously been leaked.
We all need to be on the 'same' level here, if were to test and iron out Windows 7's faults/bugs before RC1, surely?

I just reinstalled Windows 7 and as soon as it loaded I set updates to notify me and I will choose. Two days later after choosing and installing a couple updates I received a warning from Microsoft that my Windows 7 version was too old to update and I needed to upgrade to Windows 10. I closed the...

I have win 7 set to "check for updates but let me choose whether to download...."... it used to work fine, so when there's an update, I'd get the icon in the taskbar.
since some time I noticed that it's not showing that anymore. if I load windows update, then I can see that there's...
Okay, I'm not very tech savvy and I know nothing about this netbook because it's my husband's and I've never used it. All I know is, it runs Win7.
After the update, which completed yesterday, he couldn't get past the password screen so we tried an external USB keyboard and it made no difference. ...
Since 7022 was leaked, I'm kinda hesitating between 7000 and 7022. I'll be switching over Win7 for a 2nd time and I want to install a build that everyone suggest to.
So, your thought?
P.S I'm on Vista until next Monday, so you have time.
