Download Win 7 RC?

Is it still possible to download Windows 7 RC?

I need to reinstall the RC on one of my computers. I have code, but can't locate the DVD I burned.

Not officially.

How come you need the RC now ?

I want to install Windows 7 on a Macbook, so before I decide on 32bit versus 64bit, I want to try it out. (I'll be buying the special education version that comes in either 32bit or 64bit and not both; it's for a student in the family.) Since my copy is an upgrade version, I am not sure whether it would install on the Macbook.

If you have the RTM on dvd, it will install just fine from a licensing standpoint - don't put the product key in and you get 30 days trial.

Then you will know from a technical standpoint if it's working out for you .

RC was still buggy and slower with a load of monitoring software that was taken off in RTM.

Use the RTM to test, rearm 3 times for 120 days if necessary until you decide to buy, then just insert key.
