Windows 7 to 10 upgrade with SSD main / HDD Symbolic Links
I am interested in upgrading from Windows 7 Pro x64 to Windows 10, however my current installation has been customized and tweaked to minimize unnecessary storage on my main SSD. Currently I have a few symbolic links within my appdata pointing to a simulated appdata on my HDD storage drive. I also have migrated all of my other user folders to the HDD.
I'm seeking some advice from someone else who is familiar with a SSD/HDD install, and looking for guidance as to if there is any way for me to simply upgrade to 10 rather than going through a complete clean install of Windows 10 and going through all the steps of customizing the install over again.
Currently I boot with rEFInd to choose between OSX and GUID, and GUID is then used to boot into either windows 7 or Ubuntu (yes, I avoid coming to terms with MBR/GPT structure, I need some help with sorting it all out, but I think that's a project for a different weekend).
Please reply with any questions about other details of my install (distribution of pagefile, other specs).
