    Hi,
Show a disk management screen shot of the hdd now
Sounds good to me win-7 has 100gb this is where win-7 install should be directed too if you haven't already done so
Not the unallocated space that is for future use well after the new install.

awww come on now.........hahaha....well no drive letter was put on this because i did all that while it was hooked up to my computer......the tutorial didnt show any drive either........i changed the volume to 500000MB if i need to change it back i can, to 100GB........i put the disk back in the dell, and the link you posted about win 7 install failure, you want me to try to do that while the HDD is in the dell? ive looked thru all the different areas and dont see anything pertaining to uefi or legacy seems to be a pretty basic system......and so your link is saying for me to go and do diskpart again and all the while the HD is in the dell computer?? we shall see.....

It's either the bios are freaky or the install media ?
Use a camera and take shots of the option you have in bios

I don't know how to get into the bios all are a bit different some use the Delete key on startup some the F12 key or F10
F2 to setup and F1 to bios ?

Interesting might be a in a weird format jpeg's usually have no issues but the forum will compress them if too big.
Double check your camera settings and use medium image size and a common format like jpeg
