Win7 install cant find ssd

    Win7 install cant find ssd


    Im trying to reinstall windows 7 and then install windows 10.

    I thought i could get everything ready by formatting the ssd that i wanted to use for the win7 install.

    But neither bios or the windows install and diskpart cant see the ssd so i cant do anything.

    Hi,
    How are you connecting to the ssd ?
    Seems power or data cable is messed up if nothing is sensing it ?

    Same as this problem: asus rampage 4 extreme - error code 14
    I reseated the sata cable and I turned off the psu for about a minute and then turned it back on and both the bios and the install could see the ssd. It was motherboard led code 14. Asus rampage IV extreme.

A friend asked me to help finding a desktop with Win7 32bit. I searched several websites (Dell, HP, Gateway, etc) but could not find any. They are all 64bit. We are talking about a box in the $500 to $600 range. Is 32bit an extinct species?
