Clean Reinstall of Windows 7 Update Question?.

I am updating my HDD to a SSD in the next day or so, I decided to do a clean reinstall rather than clone my OS from the old drive. Doing it this way from my CD ROM of Windows 7 Home Premium I will have an awful lot of updates to get it to the present. My question is, in order to speed up this process do I need to install every update or just the ones deemed as "Important"?.

It is best to install all the updates.

    Hi
I would personally do them as you say all Important updates first,
    With these update settings,

After you download and install all Important updates
Check the box to give you Recommended updates the same way,
This will show you all of the recommended updates separately from the wild Optional ones that are usually the trouble makers,
I would review all of them but you can also confirm if your interested in win-10 and cull them out if you're not,

Towards the end some members have posted their lists of avoided updates pertaining to win-10 or other stuff not interested in like Skype/ Bing desktop search/ Silverlight/....... these mostly would be Recommended updates but are actually Optional.
