Have any solution to install windows 7 uefi without csm support

    Have any solution to install windows 7 uefi without csm support


    I'm using windows 10 pro and dual boot with mac osx by clover, but now i want to down grade to windows 7 x64. Problem here is i'm on uefi and i dont want to back lagacy mode, how can i install windows 7 without csm support

    I think what you are asking is can you install Windows 7 on a UEIF motherboard bios.

    Yes you can. My system in My System Specs is UEIF.

    my mainboard - zotac z77-itx have not option to disable secure boot sir.

    Hi,
    Well CSM (compatibility support module) does have (uefi and Legacy oprom) under Boot Device Control which is a default setting to load either.
    Boot also has under OS Type uefi mode and Other OS which uefi mode is default and still win-7 installs just fine.

    i try both rufus and extract normal with copy bootx64, bootmgrfw.efi still this error then i boot with win8pe, install on it, still error. Then i replace bootx64, bootmgrfw.efi with clover, it boot to "starting windows..." screen then hang on it.

    Hi,
    You might look at Boot and Fast boot options,
    There should be usb support or configuration listing and make sure it's not disabled
    Some people turn off Fast boot and the options do not appear ?

    this is boot panel in my bios.

    in Boot ref setting, without fast boot

    no more setting i can find

    There's probably another option behind uefi in the red box
    Check in the security section too
