Greetings, I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit,not using bitlocker, want to upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate and use Bitlocker. Can this be done without a clean install of Win 7, will I be able to keep my applications, settings and data, etc?

Yes, it can be done, but the upgrade process is painfully slow, and may take a very long time, depending how much data your current Vista install has..
Hey Tews, thank you, all of my data is on a separate drive from my Operating drive (C:). I'm OK with it taking it's time, will the upgrade partition the C drive for the Bitlocker or do I need to do that before hand?
