Windows Install error: Can't Install to disk, controller not Enabled

So I have been trying to install windows seven into a hard drive for my friend.
I currently have windows install on my C:, have a separate HD for storage D:, and the third one that my friends wants windows installed into G;.
I am running windows 7 ultimate x64 and im trying to install essentially the same version into the G: drive.
Anyways first run through was going well, then it reset after reaching Completing installationg, but when it restarted it went to Roll back and undid the whole install.
From then on It wont let me install and on the Parition selection on the install screen it just says "Cannot install into this disk. The disk's controller is not enabled in your BIOS."
I have done some searches to try and find a solution to this issue, trying everything but no improvements.
Changed the format of the disk from MBR to GTP and back to MBR.
    Looked for bad sectors.
    Did start up repair.
    Formated and reformated the disk.
Went into the BIOS and switched SATA from ACHI to IDE to Raid even. None of which seemed to make any difference.
Tried 2 different windows 7 x64 ,and one Windows 7 x32 installs all which give me the same error.
But the Disk itself seems to work, I can copy file to and from it, installed Autocad in it and ran it from there. I am no longer sure what to do about this.
    Any help is welcome.

Where did you get your install media?

Are you trying to use a Official Microsoft DVD?
If not exactly what media are you using?

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I have one in official DVD, and a USB that i Burnt an ISO Image (did set up of the USB through command prompt, cleaned it, formated ntfs, copied files through CMD as well.)
The reason this all started was because my budie doesnt have a DVD reader, but my pc DOES and its why he wanted me to install Win 7 for him.
But its seems like i will have to install it on his pc directly.

Just how did you intend to properly activate Windows 7 on your buddies computer?

Ya you can`t install windows on the drive on your pc then put it on his pc, if you think there`s something up with the usb stick, just redo the stick using this, it works perfectly everytime.

Then put the drive in his pc and install windows.

Still, no idea why it wouldn`t install using your disc, hope you had your drives unplugged when you tried it.
