Whatever, I'll leave it be for now. I still have the XP partition, see: http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w...1113090254.jpg

... I just realized I can go back to taking screen caps now that Windows 7 is working haha. Oh well.

So, yeah. I got the drive set, but when I get to this screen: https://www.sevenforums.com/attachmen...xp-w7-xp-6.jpg , I don't see the XP partition for me to select.

How can I make it 10 GB? I couldn't find any option for that. I can only delete the partition which will just leave an unallocated 2.93 GB piece just sitting there.

In Disk Management, Delete it - you get 2.93bg unallocated space.

Rt click the 7 partition and select shrink - select 7000mb. click finsh.

You now have about 10 gb Unallocated.

Rt click the Unallocated and make a new partition from it

Alright, it's 9.76 GB. If I restart and boot from the XP cd will it show me the partition? Cuz it didn't last time. This guy here said this to me, but I'm not really sure what it means. Verifying DMI Pool Data stuck - Tech Support Forum

    Actually, that is pretty funny.

The Outcaste may well be right. There is a size limitation on XP recognizing the HD.

Funny thing is - he came to that because he thought the screenie was yours - It's Shawn's of course.

You need to get hold of an XP install disk with SP3 preferably - needs to be one you have a key for - Professional is it?

Borrow one, or google for it on Bing.

I think the problem is - it won't recognize the size of the HD during Install.

Can't link you to one I'm afraid.

Shouldn't be hard to find. As long as you use your own key - that's the important bit.
