Alright, before I do that though, here's a picture of the stuff you told me to do with the Command Prompt. Sorry if it's kinda hard to read. http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w...1113090042.jpg

I'll take another picture if you can't make it out.

As for the original RC .iso file, I have no idea. My friend helped me download it, so to answer your question.. probably somewhere on the internet haha.

So.. should I do the Paragon thing or the Ubuntu thing?

Hm...I know you don't want to hear this...but not good

It appears that the drive lost the NTFS filesystem...and now is unpartitioned

    Here are your remaming options:
    1. Download the live Ubuntu CD and cross your fingers, pray, start worshiping, whatever you have to do for the Ubuntu disc to recognize the partition as NTFS. IF IT DOESN'T...format the partition as NTFS in the Ubuntu environment and hope it can bring back up the files (hopefully SIW2 can also verify this)
    2. Accept the loss and move on...insert the 7 disc (or whatever OS you want)...format and install

    I see the problem

    It is RAW.

This may do the job - d/l the free Partition Wizard bootable .iso - burn to cd.

    http://www.partitionwizard.com/download/pwhe42.iso

    http://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html

Boot the cd - when it asks to select screen resolution , make sure NUM LOCK is on, press 1, then press enter.

If it picks up the drive ok, then click DISK 1 at the top.

Click Partition Recovery in the Left Pane.

Do a Quick scan of the whole drive.

Tick ALL the partitions you wish to keep ( whichever you originally had ) , then click Apply.

I have done this successfully myself .

Forget using Ubuntu if you need to recover files - Paragon is vastly easier, and smaller.

Ah, I'm not sure what to do. I guess I'll go with the Paragon and see what happens. Thanks. I'll let you know.

Should I use ImgBurn to burn it, like I did for the Windows 7 32-bit Repair Disc ISO file?

The first link downloaded the ISO file for me. What do I select for the second link?
