just tried the en-gb and it looks the same as the en-us. I.E. no english

yes, I've used the utility to make a universal iso. So I had all the editions but wasn't sure about retail vs OEM or full vs upgrade. Unfortunately gave that disk to the son-in-law. Now that the kids have trashed his computer again and it's coming back here, I was looking for it again. I know I should have made copies for myself back then.

But if all the iso disks are the same, I should also be able to take either my full retail, upgrade, or OEM disk and create an iso then use the utility to mark that file as deleted. No?

Just get your disc back from the son in law :) and make 10 more.

    ah

    and therein lies the rub

but based on the other threads, the two OEM isos (32 & 64) should do the trick. just need to use the universal utility and then burn them (or 10 of 'em ). If not, they're on their own I guess. I have all the disks for my stuff.

Found a work around. I too had this exact issue for unknown reasons. I eventually did a live chat with MS and they gave me a new key. While I was downloading the iso I took a look at the code and edited in Chrome by pressing F12. Note that this should work in almost any browser. So i searched in the code for Arabic language and then changed the corresponding GLC value and name (see the attached screenshot)
essentially the GLC value should be : GLC-01150 and menu item should be English. once you exit your edit and select your dropdown you should see now the option for english. If you select it it will verify and you can begin the ISO download. I hope that helps someone out there with this issue.

I had the same problem. This suggestion worked perfectly. Thanks.

For those that didn't get it: Right click on the already selected language (e.g. Arabic) and choose Inspect (Chrome worked well). It will take you to the part of the page code ... Change it to the value mentioned in the post. Confirm and the download option will confirm 32 or 64 bit ENGLISH download.
