    Where to download Windows Starter ISO?


    I have a Gateway netbook that has Windows 7 Starter on it. Since I only use it lightly, I thought it would be perfect for trying out Windows 10, but I want to make sure I can go back to 7 if I don't like it. Last time I tried to download an ISO for Windows 7, the site asked me for the S/N and then said, "Sorry, it's OEM, go to the manufacturer". Well, that's great, but I'm hoping there's a trustworthy site that has the ISO anyway. Maybe I can even get one for my other computer, whose builder, a local person, died a few years ago.

    Buy another drive to install 10 on, put the drive with with windows 7 starter on the shelf.

    or buy an external USB hard drive and make an image backup of the current hard drive using Macrium Reflect Free. Then if problems with Win 10 restore the image and you're right back to where you are now.

    Thanks. I didn't know about Macrium Reflect Free. That sounds like a very useful program.

    Do a Google search for the Win 7 iso, include words like download windows 7 iso free legal

    That should give you a link to a site you can download from and verify the download.

Hi, I want to make a clean install of Windows 7 starter on my new N110 Netbook. I want to do this so as to rid my machine thoroughly of the cr*pwear that came with it. I have a product key, but no installation DVD. Does anyone know where I could download Windows 7 Starter from ?
