ND GTP conversion - UEFI Boot fails (most of the time)

I just installed a new 4 TB HD in my system an noticed windows would not address roughly half of the HD. So I converted to GPT using a lossless conversion tool. I now have a problem of not being able to boot (although I did somehow manage to get it to boot once). I have tried everything from repairing with the windows CD to changing boot orders around etc... It will work since I it did boot once though I can't remember exactly what I did. I have an HP h8-1012c Desktop. I have enabled UEFI support, and UEFI booting.

Is there a tool or a procedure I can use to repair the boot process on my PC? I am really at wits end. Obviously since the machine was able to boot once it will work but I need something to tell it to do so every time. Please help!

Not sure it will help but can't hurt.

Thanks, I started over again and used Seagate's Disc Wizard software. Now I have many hours of rebuilding my system ahead of me. At least I'm not sitting around wasting my time.
