Convert 7 install From UEFI To legacy

My system has several drives, two of which are 4TB drives. The two 4Gb drives are using GPT partition schemes. However, I'm booting off of a 240GB SSD which is using a MBR scheme.

When I installed my current motherboard, I did a fresh install of Windows 7. I didn't know much about UEFI, except that I hate it. Now I discover that there is an option to boot in legacy mode. I know in linux I can convert an existing system from UEFI to legacy mode by changing the EFI partition.

My question is, can I convert an existing Windows 7 install FROM UEFI TO legacy mode? If so, how?

Not without reinstalling windows, as far as I know.

Why do you want to convert it ? You`ll gain nothing.

UEFI or Legacy is just an option in the bios, easily changeable, you choose that before you install windows.

Because UEFI is a PITA and it's annoying me.

Unfortunately, that's about what I though, otherwise I think there'd be more about it online.

It`s just a BIOS and has nothing to do with windows. How often does one go into the bios, rarely.

If you want to use Legacy mode and a MBR partition style you`d have to reinstall windows. ( The only way I ever install windows )

Ya when we get new boards we could be in there 100 times trying to figure it out, but after it`s setup, rarely :)
