I was just going through my Startup's via msconfig when I noticed InstallShield listed there.
Is it necessary to have it startup with Win 7? I am just a stickler for what gets loaded at startup. :)
No its not required. I once had the same thing and I remember it was related to checking for updates (for a specific program).
You can always re-enable it, but I think you'll find that you dont need it.
