No USB option in BIOS : ASUS X-205

Hello, My ASUS X-205 has no USB option in 'Boot option' in BIOS. Any suggestion to re-install windows as no optical drive in this laptop. Regards

Hi sahoo56 and welcome to sevenforums,

You might need to enable CSM and disable Secure boot.

In some BIOS's there is an boot override option, have you seen something like that?

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers
    Boris :)

I disabled secure boot but where to locate CSM? No override boot option.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
CSM would need to be enabled don't change that one
What you might need to do is Disable Fast start and apply that setting change and you might see other options for usb support which the default setting should be fine any way

    After disabling fast start
    Insert and restart the machine
Then as you power up tap the F8 key continuously until you see the boot list hopefully you'll see both your hdd/ sdd and flash drive.

You may not see the usb in bios but it should show if you just skip the bios and use the F8 key instead.
Fast start does have to be disabled,
Post come images of the options you do see in Boot and security

Thanks, but unable to get any thing despite continuous F8 pressing. Here's the BIOS pics.

Seems boot manager should be enabled.
Only fast start should be disabled
Once boot manager is enabled you might see other options in the boot section.
